Adventure Rabbi
Chanukah Party

The
annual Chanukah Party is again at the historic
Community House in Chautauqua Park. Featuring
latkes, great food, and lots of schmoozing.
| When: |
Monday
December 22, 2008 (Second Night)
New
Addition: Children's menorah lighting, songs,
and story at 5:30 pm,
followed by latkes and the pot luck dinner,
which continues all night as people arrive
with food.
Second
Candle lighting will be at 7:00 pm
|
| Who: |
New
Addition: Children's menorah lighting, songs,
and story at 5:30 pm.
Then
at 7:00, we will light another menorah and
sing more songs. Menorah lighting and singing
will be led by Rabbi Korngold.
Families are encouraged to come to the early
part of this event. The rest of the evening
will be more geared to adults.

Bring: |
If
your last name begins with A-E,
please bring a main dish that serves (4-8).
For example, you could bring a casserole,
pasta salad, bagels & cream cheese,
or a pre-made rotisserie chicken from the
grocery store.
If
your last name begins with F-L,
please bring a dessert.
If
your last name begins with M-R,
please bring non-alcoholic drinks.
If
your last name begins with S-Z,
please bring a side dish. For example, you
could bring a keugel, cous-cous, or a green
salad.
Or,
if you just have a favorite dish or latkes
that you want to share with the
community, bring it along. If you have any
questions, contact Jeanette
Please
bring your own serving utensil and remember
to pick it and your serving dish up before
you leave.
We
will by buying latkes from Jimmy and Drew's
deli with all the fixings.
Please
bring your own plate, cup and cutlery so
we use less plastic/ paper products.

This event costs $1100 to run. You donation
above $10 will help defray our costs for
facility rental, zero-waste supplies, latkes
and other food, insurance, decorations and

I 25 North, merge left
onto US 36 West (to Boulder) |

Exit
US 36 at Baseline exit. |
